New York Mandatory Coverages
New York State law requires that all motorists carry a minimum amount of liability insurance of $25,000 for bodily injury to one person, $50,000 for bodily injury to all persons, and $10,000 for property damage in any one accident. Mandatory “no-fault” coverage of $50,000 is also required. New York law also requires all auto insurance policies to provide uninsured motorists coverage (for bodily injury), subject to the same minimums. The coverage minimums are:

What is SR22 Insurance?
SR22 is a document often required by a state’s Department of Transportation (DOT) proving that a driver is carrying the state’s required minimum amount of vehicle liability insurance.
SR22s are typically needed for a driver to reinstate their driving privileges after an offense such as a DUI conviction or uninsured auto accident. Drivers who do not own a vehicle but still wish to reinstate their driving privileges may need to provide a non-owner SR22 policy.
What is PIP (Personal Injury Protection)?
